what is the speed of your DVD writer of read/write ?

if you are using ur laptop internal DVD/CD writer, then i recommend you to buy an external USB DVD/CD writer ( cost = 10KD - 12KD ) at most and us it as writer.

put the blank DVD on the external drive and put the one u want to copy inside the laptop drive.

most of laptops DVD/CD burners/writers are SUCK and get faulty and damaged very fast not like the ones in Desktops or external ones, also the Desktops and external are MUCH MUCH MUCH faster than the laptop burners.
