Hey, use memory Card unit, fi 512 MB(max) and 256 MB, and for ur Downloads,,, u can download them again by recovering ur profile @ the new XBOX or HDD, and then go to download history and u can download them all again for free.

Just use the memo 512MB a few times and you will get at least the most important stuff ... and your gamertag as well.

You can use the data transfer cable (very easy and simple to use) but i don't know where you can find one (for cheap that is)
