ps2 games on ps3 ?

i know this sound a noobie question but
i have been wondering if i can play any ps2 game on my ps3 console ??
i've heard that the game version must be as the console version
and the latest produced ps3 consoles such as 80-160 gb cannot play any ps2 game !!?? is this right ? btw my ps3 is an old Chinese 60 gb
model.

Lol I tried it. sawait download 7ag that free add on eli ykhalek etshaghel ur PS2 game. It didnt work. it wasnt my ps3 i borrowed it from my brother kan emsafer. radait-ha eb nafs esa3a i was soo pissed off! its also 60 GB's some of the ps3's wont play your ps2 games sucks.

Choose your PS3 model and type the name of the game you want to play, It will tell you if the game is fully compatible or not.

Due to software-emulation of the 80GB models, some games get glitchy or unplayable. But the old 60GB models usually work perfectly with PS2 games.

1- are your PS3 80GB ??
2- if your PS3 is 40GB you can't play PS2 games on your PS3 :( so bad
3- you have to buy a US game if your PS3 us
