Whoah.. Marvel Anime!

I don't know about you, but I'm a huge Marvel fan. And I just stumbled upon 2 trailers released this week at Comic-con about new anime series..

It seems that Marvel has teamed up with possibly the best anime studio ever, Madhouse (Death Note, Monster, Trigun, Devil May Cry..etc), to create japanese/anime versions of famous Marvel superheroes.

There will be 4 character adaptations, and so far only two have been announced.

Iron Man

..The Wolverine one looks a little weird, they made him feel like a samurai-ninja type of character. It still looks pretty interesting though.
Now I'm curious to see how the other unannounced ones will look.

Interesting, hope the Japanese aren't shy to add some violence of the kind that they're famous for. (And maybe even some nudity... wishful thinking, I know)

EDIT: The Wolverine trailer has "Fuck what we think wolverine is like, let's try to impress the Japanese" all over it.

Nudity you say?.. hmm, I wouldn't mind that at all. Especially if it was Emma Frost.

You're totally right about Wolverine. No pointy hair, no sideburns, no gruffy attitude.
..If it weren't for the claws, he'd be like any other generic anime character.

woow Wolverine is really unlike himself in this one xD with the Japanese touch he is instantly changed but he still looks interesting so thats awsome....never thought westren and eastren cartoons would join forces but this is surprising !!

Both of them will be released in 2010.. So expect to see episodes pop up online next year.

However, both look very interesting. I hope they do THOR or DEADPOOL :P
