Why Killzone 2 will have the clan scene going crazy (http://kouppa-networklive.com/?p=663)

very in-depth clan system in Killzone 2
Everybody remembers when clans where in full overdrive when Socom was first released for Ps2 and people where introduced to there first taste of online shooting gaming ,it was like nothing ever seen before clans where popping up everywhere and then came along the Tom Clancy series Ghost Recon’s and Rainbow six’s which where great games in there own right to have clans in But have been almost faded out by the heavy hitters of today which are Gears of War 2, C.O.D 4 and C.O.D world at war, Halo series and R2 but none of these games can compare to the sheer amount of attention that has gone into Killzone 2 clan system to make it the end all to all clan console systems ,and a badge and ranking system that is second to none this game isn’t only breath taking it has the gameplay to match, get ready to get your socks knocked off folks “a classic in the making”.
Killzone 2 lets you create your own clan ,and manage your own clan, view clan ranking and event information through the Universe option, manage your clan schedule and check your clan’s overall ranking, all from inside the game WoW! I’m not a big clan person but with Killzone 2 clan system being so intuitive ,me and a couple of my buddies will be entering the Killzone 2’s fray when it comes out, now thats saying alot.

From the main menu of the game:
Play
Community
Clan
Statistics
Options
After you select the Clan option, there are five options you can choose:
My Clan
Universe
Tournaments
Ranking
Member Ranking
Choosing the “My Clan” option:
Challenge Clan
Transfer Leader
Leave Clan
Demote Member
Promote Member
Kick Player
Revoke Invite
Invite Player
Choosing the “Universe” option:
This will display your clan’s win/loss ratio, among other statistics. Also displays upcoming tournaments and clan news.
Choosing the “Tournaments” option:
Here you can sign your clan up to matches. . It will also display what weapons are allowed to be used, and what classes can be used, so you will know exactly how the tournament works, along with any added notes.
You can also create tournaments.
Choosing the “Ranking” option:
Here, you can check how your clan is doing world wide, or just in your region.
Choosing the “Member Ranking” option:
This option shows off the K/D statistics of your clan members. Not only that, but it tells you how well they played TODAY, LAST WEEK, the last TWO WEEKS, last MONTH, and ALL TIME.
