Hello everyone


Most of you guys heard about Windows 7 that released less than month ago, and maybe some members have tried it.

as we used in TopDark to share our experiences to each other

basically write about what are the most features and tools has excited you or you liked it in Windows 7 so far.

also make sure that you write a clearly and understandable by everyone so other members and visitors can gain some knowledge and experience.

مميزات الويندوز
اكثر شي عجبني فيه ان سريع لدرجة ما تتخيلونونها
بس في اشياء ما ادري اذا موجوده فيه
يعني شالوا هذا سالفة كويك بار هذي كانت تسويلي شغل كنت احط كل الي ابيه فيه
او بس اكثر ما عجبني فيه سرعته

you still can add a quickbar windows 7 :)
right click on taskbar > toolbars > New toolbar > then go to computer>C>users> (current user ur using ) > AppDate >Roaming > Microsoft > Internet Explorer then select Quick Lunch
then Customize it and make it look like the old :)

I don't have windows 7 but i use the windows 7 theme [Makes your windows LOOK like windows 7]

والله يا بوليد من اول نسخه انزلت وندوز 7 وانا منزله عندي لي آخر نسخه الي نزلت الرسميه وانا استخدمه

الوندوز سرعته سرعه أكس بي و شكله شكل فيستا

ما ياكل من الرام كلش اذا كمبيوترك مو مشغل فيه ولا شي تلقاه ماخذ من الرام بس 300 400 أم بي وهذا الي امسرعه عكس الفستا الي اول ما اتشغله تلقاه أكثر من 1 قيقا ماخذ من الرام

البرامج و ما برامج كل شي يشتغل عليه ماكو أي مشكله

بإختصار الوندوز هذا سرعته وقوته وندوز أكس بي و شكله شكل فيستا

I have installed Windows 7 on my Macbook and I have to say it works PERFECTLY. Unlike Vista, Win7 works faster, error free, and the most important thing is the availability of hardware support and drivers.
I like the way how you can navigate opened windows. By going through the task bar, a small window will be shown and once the mouse pointer on it, it will show the window in the entire screen. Design is very smooth and relaxing colors and borders.
Now I have my Macbook runs with both Mac Leopard and Win7 operating systems depends on my mood, Macy or Windowy!

some of the features that makes me ( HOLLY MOLLY 86 ) in Windows 7 are: :grin:

1- Firewall:

you don't need to buy firewall protection with Windows 7

and all i can say about it is VERY IMPRESSIVE and can be managed by a noob or expert

2- Process and Performance monitoring

in Windows 7 , you can REALLY know WTF is going on in the background what are the files and you can see thread by thread running

3- Booting and shutdown speed

4- Backup and Restore

In Windows 7 , they have added new way of backup called ( Image Backup ) , it is exactly the same idea of ( Acronis , Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery , Norton Ghost ) , which is very good.

as for me , I bought it , tried it for two weeks , left it , bought new macbook pro 900 pounds , simply because W7 has the worst networking system ever made ,
it complicated + the customers support does not know how to manage the system
,, mac = better performance + hip and cool :)

I've faced just a one little problem which it is ...... is doesn't write arabic :(

Not something I couldn't do , it just when I have a network a lot of errors come out + with W7 its really hard to use the media server for the ps3 + the wireless networking is too damn slow :angry:
so the streaming is bad and it disconnect without any reason and the trouble shoot are general so you cant know the reason + customer server are dumb + these problems were in vista too :( and the DSL sharing between two pcs is a big fail , anyway I didn't discover mac yet ,, when I get back to kuwait I will find out :grin:

anyways Mac has impressed me by it's fastness and dynamic design + LED screen

like you can use multi-protocols and multiple IP's in the same network interface. you can manage the whole pc through the network remotely from another pc , joining Windows domain , support both IPv4 and IPv6 ...etc

I see most of your problems are hardware based instead of software based

Anyway Macs are way overpriced for the specs they offer and if you think the OS is worth it well Windows 7 is worth it even more :)

Its got the looks & performance [customizable performance unlike with Macs you'll be stuck with the same specs]

I just got my new pc with windows 7 and new full hd screen. and i have to say. WOW!!!! fee things ghareba shway but you'll get used to it. It hasnt been so long since i turned my pc on. but i have to say so far im very impressed and very happy with it!
