i've used Wag300 before, it's nice but the LAN slots stop working after a while.
right now am using Belkin Wireless-N router.
it's good ... but i liked the linksys better
About Your Problem.
First i suggest u to download the latest frimware for WAG200g
U can find it here : http://downloads.linksysbycisco.com/downloads/gpl.html
enter ur router setting and update it from there.
etha still ur facing a problem... try using another router.

If you want stable and long life routers for nowadays i think ( Netgear ) Wireless G series.
i have used Linksys WAG354G for a year and i didnt got any single problem with it.
currently im using ( Linksys WAG160N ), the first one i bought got fucked up and got same as your problem. then i went back to my old linksys.
after that i bought Netgear router, but i didnt like the features of the QoS and management of it. so i bought another ( Linksys WAG160N ) and im using it right now.
in my grand fathers house, i installed netgear router and they are fuckin stable as hell.
Note: in my house, i never use wireless, all my networks are wired, and rarely i connect my netbook, mobile and/or Blackberry to the wireless.

If all your gadgets and networked devices is a same place and you can connect them with cable it would be much much better than using a wireless.
unless mobiles or any handheld devices ( PDA, Palm, Blackberry, UMPC ...etc)
