Should I get a Wii?

Hello everyone? how are you doing today?

I've been asking this question for myself time and time again, should I get a Wii? I need more opinions on the best games, why I should get it, why I shouldn't get it, or whatever you think would be useful to mention. Also, I'm confused on wether I should buy it online from amazon.com for 60 KD or buy it from Kuwait for a ??? KD (How much is it here btw?). So yeah, any advice would be helpful..

well that depend if you like party games or not but also there is some great games for hardcore players like monster hunter and murmasa...etc. so w8ing for E3 wont make any difference in my opinion go see the games if you like them then get it if not dont.

Its good to have multiple consoles. Get it. There r already alot of great hits for Wii, dont miss out.

Good multiplayer games:

- Super Smash Bros. Brawl: if u plan to play with ur friends and have some fun, this is the game for u, dont count on online though, its complete garbage. Mostly.

- Mario Kart Wii: Also fun to play with friends. The online is terrific.

- Monster Hunter Tri: If u have tried/played the previous Mh title, then u ll love this one. If u haven't, then I suggest u get it, because its made easier for casuals to get into the game. The online? 10/10. VERY small lag with US ppl, and I have a 512MB!

New Super Mario Bros. Wii: r u familier with Mario's 2D platrome games? Lol just asking, who knows xD. The game is SUPER fun to play with 3 friends near u. Note however it doesnt have online. Its meant for offline play.

Single player games:

There r a few great hits:

- No More Heros & No Mor Heros 2 (action/fighting blood/gore, rated M for MATURE, but the games r brilliant and funny)

- the Legend of Zelda : Twilight Princess

- Metroid Prime Trilogy (its a FPS/Action/Adventure, not ur average Halo/CoD type of game though, its mostly adventure while in FPS screen. great series)

- Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 (3D adventure/platforming. 1st one made a huge success. 2nd one got a 10/10. Need I go more?)


Thats all I can think of. Im sure there r other good hits I missed. Hope I helped. ;).

if u looking for a console to put all ur hopes on ur gaming future then no

cause srsly wii doesnt have that much of the games worth playing just couple that worth buying then throw it away(i would say from 6-12 game and thats it)

unless ur looking for fun/family games then wii is your choice

They just revealed the black Wii which is kinda good.
Wii + 2 Controllers with MotionPlus (more accurute controlling) + Wii sports + Wii sports resort
I don't know how much it's priced here though , but I got my white wii (modded when I got it) for 90 KWD and that was 4 - 7 months ago I think.
And just like the guys said : get it if you wanna play it with friends or family other than that it's garbage playing it alone.

Thanks a lot man, that sure was helpful, but question is shall I get a hacked one or not? ya3ni pay around 75-80 KD for it from re7ab or just buy it from amazon.com for 60 KD?

I'm getting it for specific games, I already have a PS3 and other handhelds ;) thanks a lot

Well u might find the Wii cheaper in Amazon/Ebay. But it takes a long time for it to get here. Not to mention how much they ll charge for the delevery to ur home. Or get it here a bit more expensive, and play it asap.

Yeah I know, but, I'm saying if I get it from amazon.com it won't be hacked, If I get it from here will it be hacked? And what are the benefits from it? I heard it would make the Wii region free and would make it play copies..and I'm not sure If I can play online like that..

I, for one, dont go with hacked stuff. Id say stick with a clean Wii. I dk wats the advantage of a mod'd Wii, maybe just get free games by downloading them. But Im not with those kinds, so I just buy the games.

I know, I don't like hacked stuff either but, Wii is region locked, the hack makes it region free...so I'm not sure..
